Bigger and better than before – the new Tudor Village Community Centre opened Thursday 19 February 2015.
Special guest Mayor Maria McCarthy, Pinnacle Living CEO Geoff Reeve and around 300 residents celebrated the opening of the new community centre on Thursday 19 February 2015 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Including a theatrette, library, pool and a dance floor for aspiring stars to show off their best steps, the community centre promises to be a wonderful addition for residents and their family and friends. Destroyed in a fire in 2013, the centre had been undergoing renovations to update its facilities and interior. Luckily no one was hurt, and the local fire service rallied quickly to put out the blaze.
Although the fire was a tragedy and a big set back for the whole community, it’s given village owners, Pinnacle Living, the chance to create a completely new, custom designed building that’s perfectly suited to the needs of each and every resident. Pinnacle Living residents have long enjoyed the very best accommodation, facilities, services and locations in their communities. The company started when they took over Tudor Village Lilydale in 2004, followed by Yarrbat Place in Melbourne’s exclusive suburb of Balwyn in 2008. A third village, Bellarine Springs, is currently under construction and expected to open in 2015.
