It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Tudor Village as residents embrace the festive season and fill the community with colour, joy and holiday spirit. From outdoor Christmas lights to handmade Christmas gifts, the celebrations are already well underway.
At the entrance to the community centre, an ever-growing display of outdoor Christmas decorations has appeared, creating a welcoming burst of sparkle for residents and visitors. Resident Fran, who began collecting outdoor decorations and lights three years ago, has once again transformed the space with management’s support. Among the highlights are her well-loved Christmas kangaroos — Milly, Molly and Mandy — proudly showcased at the front.
The Tudor Village Men’s Shed has added even more festive charm this year. Under Barry’s guidance, the group designed and crafted Santa’s sleigh and a team of reindeer, now delightfully prancing through the garden and instantly becoming a favourite feature of the outdoor festive display.

Inside the community centre, the Tudor Village craft group has been hard at work all year preparing a beautiful range of handmade Christmas gifts and decorations. Their creations are thoughtfully displayed for residents to browse, admire and purchase. These items make perfect presents or add a festive touch to homes throughout the retirement village.
Christmas at Tudor Village is a wonderful reflection of community connection, creativity and shared celebration. With the festive season just beginning, residents can look forward to even more holiday cheer in the weeks ahead.
