The elves were working overtime to deliver Christmas in July at Tudor Village on Saturday 19th July! With the caterers taken ill with CoVid and the dishwasher on the blink, Christmas in July was facing cancellation. But thanks to a last minute plumber and a new catering recommendation, the day was saved and a great event was held.
More than 80 residents gathered to enjoy a traditional Christmas feast with music, entertainment and door prizes. The original caterer even donated a 5kg ham as a door prize, which was won by resident Jackie and will be shared with her family.
This event is one of many fun activities that the Tudor Village Residents Association organise each year for the enjoyment and social connection of the residents.
